Single pickups

Suhr Single Coil pickups are a unique combination of proprietary winding techniques and selection of high grade components.

Hand crafted for a lifetime of unparalleled quality and tone, our Single Coil pickups include 100% USA made Alnico V magnets and wire manufactured to our specifications. We offer guitarists a variety of pickups for the most dynamic and musical playing experience available.

  • V54. The V54 pickup offers 50’s style chime, tight lows and just the right amount of midrange quack for an overall balanced tone. DC Resistance: neck & middle: 6,1K; bridge: 6,7K
  • ML (Mike Landau) pickups offer a balance of tight lows, focused midrange and smooth top-end sparkle. ML pickups incorporate a modified staggered pole piece design to provide a even magnetic field needed to accommodate instruments with flatter neck radiuses and today’s string gauges. Available in two versions: ML Classic - bright and punchy DC Resistance: neck & middle: 6,0; bridge: 6,5. ML Standard - hotter for ​more output and sustain.​ DC Resistance: neck & middle: 6,5K; bridge: 6,9K
  • The V60 pickups offer a balance of tight lows, focused midrange and smooth top-end sparkle.   • The V60LP pickups are wound using a proprietary winding process to offer players a sweeter top-end with balanced lows and a focused midrange than our V60​ model. V60LP pickups incorporate a modified staggered pole piece design to provide an even magnetic field needed to accommodate instruments with flatter neck radius and today’s string gauges.   • The Classic T pickups are wound to produce a broad range of classic T-style tones, from clean and snappy to warm and punchy with just the right amount of growl. DC Resistance: neck & middle: 7,3K; bridge: 8,1K
  • The S90 bridge is wound hotter for more output than our S90 neck and middle positions. The S90 bridge produces full bodied lows, a punchy midrange rich in harmonics with just right amount of top end cut. The S90 neck offers full bodied lows, a punchy midrange with just right amount of top end bite. Faithful to the classic design of the 1950's, the S90 is ideal for blues, rock and jazz. The S90 middle offers the same tone characteristics as our S90 neck, but wound RW/RP for hum cancelling operation. DC Resistance: neck & middle: 7,2K; bridge: 8,1K

  • The DSH is a warmer version of our SSH humbucker. Equipped with a double row of screws, the DSH produces a smoother top-end with excellent harmonics and tight lows. DC Resistance: 12,8K
  • The DSH+ is a warmer version of our SSH+ humbucker. Equipped with a double row of screws, the DSH+ produces a smoother top-end with excellent harmonic and a tight low end. Recommended for Rock and Classic Metal. DC Resistance: 17K
  • The DSV Bridge is a warmer version of our popular SSV humbucker. Equipped with a double row of screws, and slightly overwound for more output, the DSV offers increased sustain and a smoother top-end response. The DSV Neck is a warmer version of our popular SSV humbucker. Equipped with a double row of screws, the DSV offers a player clarity, definition and a smoother top-end response. DC Resistance: neck: 8K; bridge 9K.
  • The SSV Bridge is similar to the SSV neck in tone, but wound hotter for more output, increased sustain and a sweet midrange response. The SSV Neck is a versatile pickup that combines the warmth of a vintage humbucker with increased clarity and definition. DC Resistance: neck: 8K; bridge 9K.
  • The SSV+ humbucker is a hot-rodded version of out popular SSV, overwound for more power and rich defined upper harmonics. DC Resistance: 10K
  • The SSH bridge pickup produces a clear cutting top-end with excellent harmonics and a tight bass response. DC Resistance: 12,8K
  • The SSH+ is a high output pickup that produces a clear cutting top-end with excellent harmonics and a focused low end. Recommended for Rock and Classic Metal. DC Resistance: 17K
  • The Doug Aldrich Bridge humbucker​ was designed to be the ultimate pickup for aggressive rock and metal playing styles. The Aldrich pickup offers focused lows, punchy mids and singing highs to cut through the heaviest mix. The Doug Aldrich Neck humbucker is the perfect complement to the Aldrich bridge pickup. Carefully calibrated for the neck position, the Aldrich neck pickup is warm, clear with exceptional string-to-string balance. DC Resistance: neck: 9K; bridge 17,5K.

Bass pickups

The Classic J Humphrey offers the same great tone of our Classic J Vintage but without the hum. The Classic J Humphrey pickup utilizes two individual coils wired side by side for hum canceling, while delivering all the tone of a ‘60s vintage single-coil with increased definition, punch, and clarity in a single-coil spacing. DC Resistance: 8,3K

The Classic J Vintage pickup captures the character of a great sounding mid ‘60s single-coil pickup, with just the right amount of output for exceptional warmth, punch, and definition. Whether you play Jazz, R&B, Rock or Country, the Classic J Vintage will bring you all the subtleties and nuances of your unique playing style. DC Resistance: neck: 8,4K; bridge 7,8K
